Marié's latest video is a music video for her latest single in Japan, called "Feel". In this video, Marié portrays a character who's relationship with her love is dead. Marié combines her compelling vocals and powerful beats to make this video hard to forget. Watch it here!
Marié did a brief interview with Young Hollywood where she talks about vocal lessons with Seth Riggs, who is the vocal coach of 120 Grammy award winners, such as Micheal Jackson and Stevie Wonder. Her interview comes after the segment with Esmée Denters. Watch it below!
Marié posted a brief greeting message to her fans out in Japan and other Asian countries on her official website, which you can see here in the gallery. I have also added some new pictures Marié posted on her Ameba blog! Also, Marié's official website has posted brief explanations of each song on the new album, and thanks to Kelly, below is a translation:
1. Daybreak When I had a wonderful time with a person I love, I always do not want to end the day. So when the day breaks, the moment when light passes through the window in the morning, i will have a feeling which the happy moments on yesterday would be gone.
2. Avalanche We will have some questions in our mind when a relationship is going to be broken. Is that a valuable one to us? Should we try to keep on the relationship? Although it seems to be impossible to save everything, there're still things like showing more consideration can be done to repair the relationship (if you still love each another).
3. Breathing Underwater At the beginning of a relationship, lovers always feel very happy. No worries. No anxiety. That kind of comfortable and joyful feeling is like breathing underwater.
4. Shoulda Been Simple It's hard for me to say goodbye to and part from people I love. Because it always hurts the other. So I learnt it's better to simplify everything as much as possible. It's bad to prolong the farewell.
5. Know You By Heart**
6. Feel I want to get responses from people who are hiding their emotions. It's like talking to walls when I'm not getting any kind of message back.
7. Come Find Me If we always try to hide our true selves, protect ourselves and escape from the truth, we may miss something important in life, like love. So what I have in mind is that "Don't fear but catch every chance"!
8. Symphony It's a song for people who support my music from the beginning until now. As an artist, I always want to try different kind of music, which I hope everyone can understand. Instead of staying in one place, I think it's better for me to try doing what I can do and climb upper in my career but not fear of trying somrthing new without moving on.
9. Machine When we're make decisions, people may even try to see others ideas and choices, we may sometimes mind what others think. But the important thing is to know what we are living for and what you want. Because there is no point to live like a machine, following and obeying others' orders.
10. Overboard (featuring Livvi Franc)** It's a song made with JIVE Record's artist. The feeling of the song, the contrast made by guitars and the song arrangement are quite satisfactory.
11. Love With A Stranger** It's a controversial topic. But I do not think it's a bad thing. It might mean a very good connection with strangers.
12. Come To Life In my life, I always want to have control over things. But I know it's impossible to get into others' mind. Thus what I want to tell from the song is "Love is not a thing that can be hurried. Just let it come naturally."
13. Crazier Things* I was afraid to get hurt, but it made me missed many things. So this makes me have the courage...
14. Sanctuary In this chaotic world, I found that a place which is free of fear and guilt is needed. That is the sanctuary.
15. Make It Happen Songs always give people a goal. Though this song, I hope to encourage people to try their best to finish every race.
16. Surrender** He is attractive, I met him at night in a club. And he's the one who stole my heart.

Even Later: Thanks to Brix for information about Breathing Underwater's spot on iTunes! Breathing Underwater is now Top 83 in all genres of music, and Top 9 in the Pop genre in Japan! Also, thanks to George, there is a short clip of Marié talking about her Summer 2009 trip to Japan/Asia, where she will be touring! Click here to watch it. Thanks to Vince, I've added more stunning images to the Breathing Underwater Japan photoshoot. This is my favorite photoshoot of Marié to date! She looks absolutely gorgeous. I can't wait to see the rest of the photoshoot. Although this layout is still fairly new, I'm going to make another layout using these pictures, so keep an eye out for anything new. It should be up within the next few days.

Hi Everyone! I am so happy that my new album ' Breathing Underwater' is coming out first in Japan (before anywhere else in the world ! :) I am planning to come back soon.. Anyway, everything is going well over here in the States.. I am going to start band rehearsals soon. Mostly, I'm trying to find a manager and clean up the business end of things. That of course, is no where near as fun as the creative part like writing songs and touring :) Hope you are all very well and that I get to see you soon !

Also, there is a new interview Marié did for SoapNet, where she explains why she is an "All My Children" fan and her song, "Come To Life". You can watch it here! Possible Trip to Manilla in July, Songwriters Index
Rumors about Marié's possible trip to Manilla early this July have been floating around on blogs lately. The possible show will be from July 5 through July 12, but it hasn't been finalized because of the postponement of Breathing Underwater. The trip will most likely be postponed for a month or two because of the release date. Also, Marié confirmed that the US release for Breathing Underwater will have a DVD with acoustic versions of the songs as apart of the pre-order. Also, thanks to George for finding an index of all of the released and un-released songs Marié has written, including songs like Alive, Grampa's Kite, and Jonah. Click here to see the list!
The official Japanese "Feel" music video just came out yesterday on YouTube! It's so amazing and beautiful! This makes me love Marié even more! This video is so amazing. Hello All !!! This is my Japanese music video for my song ' Feel' which is the first single in Japan off my new album ' Breathing Underwater' (that was a long sentence). wheww.... All of this footage was shot in Tokyo when I was visiting a few months ago... This song is one of my favorites off the new album .. i mean, i love them all but this one is especially fun to perform. I'm really happy that Japan chose this to be the first single.. Anywho, I hope you enjoy the video :)
